GRE
WIEN Global Glass fiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) piping systems are highly resistant to internal corrosion from seawater, produced water or water purification systems, and external corrosion from the most aggressive environments. Low installation and operating costs mean comparable installed costs and significantly lower total service life costs when compared to conventional steel systems.
Our GRE products meet the demanding requirements and regulations associated with the marine-offshore market, whether on fixed, floating, ship-shaped or custom designed facilities. Exposure to the corrosive sea environment and various grades of water conveyed inside the pipe makes us the product supplier of choice for a variety of systems from fire protection to deck drains. Design variations include elevated external pressure resistance for in-tank piping; electrical conductivity for hazardous areas; low smoke and toxicity for confined spaces and passageways; and fire endurance for fire suppression systems.
